There's a Boy in the Girl's Bathroom!

Written by Louis Sachar, I found this children's book to be incredibly thoughtful. Granted there isn't too much depth to the book, there is, however, enough character development to convey its message. By the growth of his characters, Sachar reminds us that all anyone ever needs is a chance and a little encouragement. I found this theme to be surprisingly sweet! As our lives get busier and the competition for perfection increases we may sometimes forget our humble beginnings. Lord knows, I would not be at the level of my professional career had it not been for those oh-so-essential pep talks from family and friends and my incredibly generous mentors who saw something in me and decided to take me in under their wings. So, let us remind ourselves to have grateful hearts and lend a helping hand where needed! Thank you for reading!
